Integral Color is the primary (base) color that you chose. It is typically added to the concrete truck at the plant, but it can also be added on site. The advantage of coloring your concrete slab with integral color is that the color is spread throughout the slab.
We encourage homeowners to chose a color that will accent their home's unique features and to avoid trying to match its siding color.

Short 4 minute summary of placing a stamped concrete pad from start to finish. The video was taken from decorative concrete training class at the Michigan Concrete Association with trainers from Decorative Concrete Resources.
Color used was Prism Pigments Red Barn, Dark Gray Antique Release, Brickform Basketweave Used Brick stamps, and Vexcon Certivex AC1315 Gloss sealer.
Antique Release serves two purposes: it acts as a bond-breaker between your chosen stamp, and adds a secondary color that gives your decorative concrete surface its definition and depth.
Colors are chosen to accent both your home and your integral color.

DCR offers a wide variety of coating options for decorative concrete, so which one is right for you?
Vexcon's Certivex AC1315 in varying levels of gloss are by far the most common answer to this question. Vexcon Sealers are non-yellowing and breathable, which means fewer problems and prolonged beauty for your decorative concrete surface.
